As part of their Medieval History ISEB course, Year 7 and 8 went to the museum of London on a Medieval Study day.
Pupils were able to handle and investigate real medieval artefacts found in London, such as a knight’s spurs, a bronze money bag frame and an ice skate made from bone.
Pupils met Harry Bailey, a medieval tavern owner, who told them about the Black Death. They were also able to investigate what the old St Paul’s cathedral looked like.
A great learning experience!
