Our Mission Statement

We are a co-educational, mixed ability school that celebrates multi-cultural diversity and aims to:

• Deliver a broad curriculum that balances a full range of academic subjects and recreational activities.
• Nurture all our pupils, especially our youngest during their Nursery and Reception years.
• Attend to all our pupils' needs, whatever their ability or linguistic background.
• Prepare each of our girls at 11+ and our boys at 13+ for senior school entrance examinations and Common Entrance Examinations.
• Support each of our pupils, whatever the length of their stay at Hendon Preparatory, in achieving their full potential.
• Extend our most able pupils and support them in their pursuit of scholarships.
• Create a secure and nurturing learning environment through our strong pastoral support, small class sizes, caring staff and links with home.
• Secure our reputation for quality education and traditional values through professional, personal service.
• Encourage a sense of citizenship in our pupils through involvement in our in-house buddy system, support of local community groups and local national and international charities.
