Homework

Homework is set each day in the week and children are expected to spend 20 to 30 minutes on their homework each day. Reading is continuous in all year groups and in Year 4 it is suggested that the children read at least 15 minutes every day; some children will read more than this. This can be done independently or by reading aloud to an adult. The homework can vary in its nature and may sometimes be research or project based; it should support and extend the children's learning.
