RP & the butterfly!

The Reception class have been learning all about the life-cycle of a butterfly.

They looked after the tiny caterpillars until they cocooned themselves and then eventually emerged as beautiful butterflies.

They have now let all of the wonderful butterflies go however one of them seemed rather reluctant to leave the children. Eventually it flew up into the trees and the children all waived it good bye.
