We are a co-educational school for children aged 2½ to 13, situated in London's leafy suburb of Hendon. We are a culturally diverse school with a friendly, family atmosphere and small class sizes. Every pupil is considered to be a known and valued member of our school community. The combination of a nurturing environment and clear boundaries creates a supportive atmosphere where pupils feel valued and strive to fulfil their potential. Individual tracking ensures that the strengths of every child are identified and tailoring of provision ensures that each pupil is challenged at an appropriate level. 

At Hendon Preparatory School a lifelong love of learning lies at the heart of our success. With self-esteem established, our pupils develop the confidence to achieve their best across the curriculum. Our emphasis is on traditional values. The life skills of loyalty, pride, honesty and respect ensure that our pupils leave us well equipped for life beyond Hendon Prep.

Our girls leave at age 11 (Year 6) and the boys at age 13 (Year 8). We are proud of the progress of all our leavers - we are not an academically selective school, yet we continue to secure places at highly selective senior schools.
